Compressed air at 100 psi creates temperatures above 180°C in compressors. Normally, at this temperature the volume of vapor is around 13.25 liters per hour of operation, as 100% satured air; if air temperature decreases a single degree, a real "storm" will occur in the air circuit.
M/P's Heavy Duty filters and Hydro-Jector drammatically reduce the volume of water in compressed air systems.
The use of filters and the Hidro-Jector from M/P as air drainig and filtering system (particularly in systems that employ compressors from 100 to 500 PCM) is an investment that combines handiness and efficiency. M/P's Hidro-Jector can be used with M/P filters, when serious water condensation problems exist, or individually as draining element.
Working with intermittent or continuous flow, or simply without any air flow, Hydro-Jector drains only when there is some liquid, in an automatic way, without any air loss. A manual drain also enables to clean or use it in emergency situations. Provided with 1/8" and 1/4" threaded connections (where the 1/4" ones are intend end for M/P filters of the Vanguard series), M/P's Hydro-Jector is not recommended in cases of oil or foam in large volumes.
