M.Shimizu at ABC - Metter in Valor Econômico Newspaper
This week, Mitsuru Shimizu, president of M.Shimizu Industrial Tools, a 100% national company for over 40 years in the market, conceded an interview for Valor Economico newspaper, among the many topics covered, Mitsuru explained the reasons that are leading his company to gradually migrates today besieged in Vila Olimpia, São Paulo, to São Bernardo do Campo, ABC region.
With skilled hand and unions, the ABC Paulista tries again to draw attention of the industry. On one hand, negotiates investment with the companies that made it the country's largest industrial park - and has managed to attract some companies, even amidst the recent crisis in the sector. On another front, seeks to diversify the region's economy - still quite concentrated in the automotive segment - with a focus on chemical polo and also in aerospace hub, which begins to be deployed next year.

Mitsuru was emphatic when he told the newspaper that the union intervention was essential for the M.Shimizu swapped São Paulo by São Bernardo. The idea of leaving Santo Amaro, in the south of the capital, to occupy part of the 46 000 m2 that used to belong to Magneti Marelli - auto parts manufacturer who left ABC in 2011 - was the committee chairman factory of Mercedes-Benz, account Mitsuru Shimizu, for more than 20 years ahead of metallurgy that bears his name.
Accordingly, the skilled ABC labor also embedded in long-term plans of the company. Currently, half of the employees already live in São Bernardo.
"With our new equipment, the first 100% national clamping system, we need a bigger place and near of principal industries" Shimizu says.
